Passing on the commitment to protect our oceans

Every number tells a story of contribution—proof of what we can achieve together for the health of our seas.

Passing on the commitment to protect our oceans

Since 2022, Living Lamma has been supporting the marine waste reduction education initiatives. Over the past four years, they have organized 218 coastal cleanup actions, with volunteers coming from Lamma Island residents, local-conscious citizens, schools, social welfare organizations, corporations, and foreign domestic helper groups in Hong Kong. The cumulative number of participants has exceeded 1,000 people.

Living Lamma shares the passion and care for nature. Over the past four years, they have collected over 12,000 kilograms of marine litter from the coast, including more than 33,000 plastic bottles. Behind these figures lies the collective effort of everyone in safeguarding the ocean.

Living Lamma will continue to uphold its original aspirations and promote marine waste reduction education in more diverse forms in the future, ensuring that the vision of protecting the ocean is passed on continuously.
